Reginald Blackmon has operated Mind, Heart and Spirit as a certified Life Coach and Psychotherapist for over 12 years. It is his calling and passion to help couples suffering from relationship stress. He has been doing this for over 12 years. From 2006 to 2012 Reginald worked as a Psychotherapist for Presbyterian Psychological Services. He was  known as the "Love Doctor" based on his success with couples experiencing unsatisfying marriages.

 

He was the first intern with Carolina Medical Center North-East Behavior Health Emergency Care Center. He graduated from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary with a Master's of Divinity and a Master's of Biblical Studies with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. He also obtained his degree in Business from UNCC. He has Coached and mentored youth for more than 40 years. 

 

As a ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor at the Gateway YMCA in Charlotte, he is known for helping Y members loose weight, get fit and transform their health and bodies. 

 

Licensed and Ordained Minister. He is currently as Associate Minister at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC. Formerly an Associate Minister at First Missionary Baptist Church in Concord, NC where he was the Finance and Stewardship Chairman.  Chaired the Capital Fundraising Campaign in addition to his preaching, teaching, and counseling duties.

 

After 14 years, he left the bank to start his is own successful Financial Service Company. For 15 years he helped individuals and couples improve their finances through budgeting, money management and investing.

His expertise is helping couples overcome communication issues, infidelity and anger management.  Reginald is also very successful in mentoring young men and adult men deal with anger issues.

 

Reginald has been happily married to his high school sweetheart for more than 40 years, 45 years in total. They have 3 sons. The oldest has been happily married for 10 years and has 2 children and the middle son has been happily married for 5 years, with one child. The youngest is still single.
